nefer aihara

"What's yours is mine, and what's mine is mine."

the very definition of "wine with a diamond in the glass," she's got expensive tastes and is able to greed with the best of them.a natural ul'dahn merchant and manipulator that prides herself on being a cynical smartass and tycoon when it comes to business.she's decisive, firm, and knows what she wants and how she likes it.she's not afraid of being the loudest person in the room and relishes when all eyes are on her; she's a natural performer and charismatic manipulator, and while she's rough around the edges and kind of imposing, she's refined, elegant, and classy--but she is not polite nor kind.she wants only the most expensive and will take every liberty to spend others' money before she spends hers, because why should she spend hers? the type to get a 100 on the test not because it was the best she could get, but because it was the only option to get.

hired help   Nefer, despite being a woman with a target on her back that she models and struts, cannot fight. She has no fighting bone in her body and can't wield a blade. perhaps you're a bodyguard... or you're a hitman. whether it be to help her move goods or people, nefer has no qualms with purchasing the right help--whether it is the start of a job or the finish.

it's just business   Nefer is a tycoon that deals in many different wares and financial avenues. she invests in budding merchants to get them on their feet, she controls a good portion of jewelsmiths, and has her claws in gladiatorial betting. perhaps you are a business partner? or you work for or under her? perhaps you have business with her as a gladiator or fighter, or perhaps, she is the "big boss" up the chain... it's all just business, after all, no matter what it is.

poor unfortunate soul   nefer does deal in slave trading. every individual unfortunate enough to land themselves in a position of being property can break themselves out of it. she purchases and sells slaves both; she offers those with promise and drive a chance to work as an employee or to buy their freedom with skills and talent, and if they have none, someone else can deal with it. perhaps you're interested in her wares, plan to sell to her, or are a product. . . ?

Hello everyone! My name is Moa, or I also go by Ren. I've been writing since I was nine years old. I started with OCs and then transitioned to Canon Characters (think Zenos, Aymeric, Calyx...etc.) and stuck with CCs for a very long time. I wrote primarily for Fire Emblem, Genshin Impact, Blue Lock, and JJBA. I've also written for obscure animes, and briefly for Final Fantasy.I made the transition to CCs because I've been burnt, bitten, and hurt more times than I can count by the OC crowd. A friend recently rekindled my FFXIV OCs, and I found that I missed them a lot... so I want to try again. Despite everything, I still want to write my XIV OCs. I want to develop them, and I want to delve into topics and genres that I normally wouldn't have delved into. So please bare with me if I'm a little over-nervous and over-anxious!IC =/= OOC. I am NOT my characters, they are their own people.
ICA = ICC (in-character actions = in character consequences).

Name     Moa/Ren  Age     26  RP Preference     In-game pref. Discord ok!  MSQ     Caught up to current patch
timezone     PST  WU/T     Loved & Accepted  RP tag    = IC  sync?     Yes, not mandatory. I only mod hair, eyes, and heights (sometimes outfits).
In-game Time Availability     Mornings, Late nights  In-game Day Availability     Varies, but mostly available! Depends on school + work.  Discord Availability     Always  Discord Response Speed     Varies; usually 1-2 a day, sometimes will ping-pong respond.

 Limits
None at all. Not a single limit. I typically tend to prefer storylines that are grimdark, gritty, villain-focused, and morally grey OR absolutely evil. I do enjoy a good hero or a good light-hearted plotline and character, but I personally find villainous and darker RP to be more of my thing.
Some CCs that I've written to give you an idea of my type of character: Junko Enoshima(Dangan Ronpa), Kokichi Ouma(Dangan Ronpa), il Dottore(Genshin Impact), Arlecchino(Genshin Impact), Arvis(FE), Ashnard(FE), Ishtar(FE), Eldigan(FE), Edelgard(FE), Petrine(FE), Makima(CSM), Bakugo(BHNA), Madara(Naruto), Dio(JJBA), Kira(JJBA), Diavolo(JJBA), Kefka, Athena, Zenos, and I'm incredibly interested in writing Calyx. The list goes on, but that should paint you a good enough picture of the types of characters I like to write.

 Communication
Please be open with me about your comforts, needs, and wants. I cannot notice subtleties. You need to boldly and upfrontly tell me "I am not comfortable with xxx." If you do not, then I will never know nor notice, and things will explode. If you are the type of person that will not bluntly say "I am uncomfortable," please consider whether you want to reach out to me or not.
Moving on: for IC Interactions, I tend to prefer in-game. It feels more organic to me. That being said, I am also open to discord rp. I have a busy schedule and life makes it hard to meet up in-game sometimes. I will always prioritize in-game, but I am open to discord. For OOC interactions, Discord please. There is a discord icon you can click. You can add me there.Writing Length: It varies. I am a novella writer. I write anywhere from 2-3 paragraphs, to 10-20 paragraphs. I write introspectively a lot, because my characters need to express their thoughts in order to grow and develop. I will always give you something to work with, no matter the post length. In-game, I tend to hit character limit 2-3 times per post, so about 2-3 post breaks. It can go up to a maximum of 8-12. If you are uncomfortable with my writing length, I can try to shorten it. I am uncomfortable with mirror writers. Please write what is comfortable for you.

 Miscellany
Overpowered Characters: Some of my characters are overpowered (not this one, she can't fight). I am very cautious about who I write with when I am writing an OP character. I do not like instigating fights, and I do not like fights with OP characters in general. If there is combat involved with an OP character, I will only use dice rolls, and I prefer to lose. I do not like OP characters that curbstomp/killing spree normal people. I am not one of those people. If you are uncomfortable with OP characters, please let me know, so I can avoid giving you my OP characters. (If you have an OP character and you'd like to spar, please do let me know.)
Fights in general: I subscribe to general Grindstone Rules when it comes to sparring in game. I am willing to edit/homebrew any type of rules necessary, and I am willing to accept your custom dice rules if you have them. I have a lot of characters that like to have friendly spars and training sessions, so it is imperative that I share this.Lore-Compliant, Bending, Breaking: My only hard limit is lore breaking. I am a fiend for creative lore bending, and I love lore compliancy. The types of plotlines I like wouldn't be too farfetched for a juicy blue sidequest. Sometimes they would be more accurately placed in MSQ plotlines (i.e experimentation, torture, etc). I am the type of dm that subscribes to Rule of Cool over Rules as Written, and that reflects in how I look at lore as well. If you can spin it without blatantly breaking lore, then I'll back you up 100%. I am not a lore buff, but I aim to be in the future. Even despite that, I still love a juicy lore bend for an interesting plotline!

 IC Actions & Consequences
Although this is just an "rp," it is just "fiction," this world, to the characters, is real and vibrant and constant. It isn't something they can "turn off" when we turn it off. It isn't something they can "brush aside" when they don't like something.
This world is real and every interaction has an affect on another character; whether positive or negative there WILL be someone affected by your actions. There may be moments that are super "light-hearted" or otherwise considered "crack," but there are characters who are serious in nature that will not respond to those situations the same way.Every action that your character takes will, in essence, positively or negatively affect someone else whether you want it to or NOT. You have no control over this situation.Just like how an action someone takes IRL will affect you, so too, will actions affect characters in canon. There are also character relationships to consider. Not every relation a character has will be positive. There will develop negative relations, toxic relations, unhealthy relations--things that cause characters to stagnate or regress in development and relationship. These types of things should be avoided, but sometimes you can't stop it--other people just do things that affect you and you can't help it.This is not to deter "crack" or "drama-mongering" situations from happening. This is to remind you that characters have emotional, mental and physical health just as we roleplayers do. They need to be cared for like we do, and they need to be taken out of scenarios that would hurt them. Please keep this in mind when you write with me. I will operate under this belief, that this world is real and constant and vibrant to these characters. Because it is.
